Pearl Poseidon is 16 and has run away from the circus. There she was a star. In her new life she wants nothing more than to remain anonymous, in the shadows, and was accomplishing that. However, one day she saved a boy from drowning and her world changes. She finds out who she really is and about Atlanteans. There is a war brewing and a legend that may or may not be true. What is her part in all of it and will she accept her place or run again? A truly great read. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
