Waiting for April by Jaime Loren

Post by lmoses »

I just finished Waiting for April by Jaime Loren and wanted to see if any other readers have been lucky enough to enjoy this gem of a read! Waiting for April is an amazing and unique fantasy romance story that fans will fall in love with! The novel is told in first person POV of April Fletcher and Scott Parker. April has died nineteen times and has never lived to see her 18th birthday; however, she has no memory of her past lives or her 300 year long relationship with Scott. April believes Scott is just her best friend and she is busy counting down the days until her 18th birthday and college. Scott, who has had to live through each of April's deaths, is determined to finally save her, even if it means losing her to Rowan, the guy she is currently dating. I loved how different and unique the story line was for this novel and I could not put the book down. The love between the two characters felt so real and the struggles their relationship has to overcome each lifetime was very emotional. Fans of contemporary romance novels that include supernatural story lines, will fall in love with Waiting for April! I will provide a warning that this novel ends with a cliffhanger, but is worth the read! I would rate this book 4 stars for the amazing writing, developed story line and characters, and ability to create strong emotions!
