Far From Shandesto
Arcanaland Series Book 1
by Author
Wyborn Senna

This fantasy novel will capture your imagination from the first paragraph and carry you to a new world that is built by the author Wyborn Senna. Well written. The plot takes place around Shandesto High located in El Paso, Texas where a group of teens challenge Holly to steal an item from the Witch's House located in the forest. The teens find themselves drawn into a new world. Where they are welcomed by Aleph the fool. After receiving new clothing and gifts, they find the missing teens who disappeared 4 years earlier. The teens then share a meal together. Certainly not what they are used to eating. Along with the teens Leticia Elizondo better known as Madame El helps them to find there way through Arcanaland and the adventures that await them. One of my favorite lines from the story. “As noon approached, Holly grew nervous as a crippled cat crossing a creaking bridge.” You will find in the story Snow Faeries, Trolls, Gnomes, Wyverns, and many more unique characters. Another line from the story that I truly enjoyed. “So sometimes things work and sometimes they don't? That makes things whimsical, don't you think?” The author has built a whimsical world that you will enjoy and a story that I found to be an enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more by this talented author. I loved the part in the story about the book depository. The teens adventures cause them to travel far and wide.
