This book sounds like a perfect adventure story for the YA reader, not for me but the plot sounds interesting!

This adventure fantasy novel has a young hero who loves to read. He finds a pirate treasure map and the excitement begins. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

I don't quite like story of Davy Jones and as such don't think that I may be able to find any enjoyment in this book. Anyway it seems like book for kids and not more mature public. Congratulations all the same!

I love books loaded with adventure such as this, and I like how the author dealt with the issue of bullying in an entertaining way.
Congrats, Carl, on #BOTD.

Garret is one of the kind. I like his attitude of not letting his disability disable him.

Thank you for reviewing this book. I like the sound of the Black Ghost, eccentric (and disgusting) villains are one of my weak points. From the sample I read I have to conclude it’s not for me, though. I found the tone was too obviously addressed to younger readers.

The book cover says a lot about to whom this novel caters to, which is the preteens. Readers who are into fantasy adventure genre will surely find this fascinating and exciting as it also gives learnings about relationships and self worth. Congrats!

This tale of Davy Jones is exciting sound very thrilling. Everyone who like thriller books would like read this book and find out who wonderfully Garrett used his books reading experience to get out of the mercenaries target.
This excited to know how. :tiphat:

The story sounds adventurous and inspiring. Unfortunately, fantasy books aren't my favorite. I'll pass the book.

Good for Garrett! I can relate as people used to shy away from me because of my illness. But the mushyness would make me steer clear of this story.

I don’t read fantasy, but you make the villains sound appealing. I love a good antagonist!

This book sounds rather fascinating. I admire how Garrett does not allow his disability to limit him.
