I like that the author's message to the reader is that problems should be solved with love, not violence. I have never read a science fiction book with poetry, so that is certainly worth a try.

This sounds interesting and unique with all the red words with links to explain some words. I’d love to read it.

The fact that the couple were trying to find the cure for a virus makes the book more interesting.

Can the creature talk? Why does the creature want to destroy the world? And robots can talk. Sounds like an interesting mystery read

I particularly enjoyed the part of the review that talked about the author's view on not fighting violence with violence. I'm not into books about robots and all that but it looks like a great book. Congrats BOTD.

I think I will read this book. I am eager to see if the author had a different explanation on negative impact of using violence to fight violence or same usual sayings.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book's characterization. Despite being a concise book, the author manages to make characters in the book relatable. His descriptions made even the robots appear life-like and also helped me to form vivid images in my mind. While most readers would love Seymour's character, my favorite is Ruby. I enjoyed how she supported and ensured the safety of her husband.
I find character development to be often overlooked in sci-fi, so I think this is especially praise-worthy. This book seems to have everything. It is original, interactive; it mixes art forms, and it even has a meaningful message.
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!

A book about a team that needs to find a cure for a new virus sounds interesting. The OBC review pleads a good case for reading this book, so I will have to see for myself. Congrats!

"The Great Awakening" by Arthur F Seymour. An interesting book, which includes poetry and it's sci-fi. It talks about Seymour and his wife, Ruby. They really worked with their children and other humans and robots as a to find the cure to the virus threatening the world. Congrats on #BOTD.

A pandemic inspired science-fiction novel for teenagers, I am unsure if I would like this. I do like well-developed character stories, so I am on the fence with this one. Good review.

This seems like a unique sci-fi plot. And it reminds me of the Corona pandemic as it started. It is also futuristic with the advanced robots. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Thank you so much for writing this review! I appreciate that you mentioned the short conciseness of this book. You mentioned that you would recommend this book to those who are fans of poetry, so I am not sure I will be reading this, but I appreciate seeing this review either way!

The Great Awakening seems like an intriguing read. Perfect for teenage and adult fans of science fiction. There’s also a little something in it for poetry lovers. Great review.
