The book cover does not catch my eye, but I'm glad that this review enlightened me to the plot. I'm interested in his journey and the wonders and magic with it. Thanks for the review.

I find your review interesting and it definitely makes me want to read more of the book than I currently have. I like the fantasy theme and the magical elements that drew my attention towards the story.

Kin's Quest by Ron Root draws you into the amazing fantasy world of Graal, where an unsuspecting orphan named Gresham learns of his magic ability. Congratulations BOTD!

This sounds like a great fantasy book to read. The cover looks very appealing as well. This is a great review. I feel like I have a good idea of what to expect from the book.

Fantasy novels normally do not capture my attention. However, I liked this one because of the older style of English it uses. The magic and beautiful descriptions of medical times were interesting as well. Thanks for the review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story following a man who trains to become a powerful mage to not embarrass his high born pregnant wife. When they discover a map to his wife's missing mother, they set off to find her missing mother. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Could it be that the stolen map would be the answer for Gresham and Rayna to find their missing mothers? Sound like the book is full of thrills and suspense. However, it's not my genre so I'll pass. Congratulations on BOTD!

Great review. This does not sound like one I’d like to read, but your review did a great summary.

It's a good thing that this book included a summary of the novel that precedes it so readers new to the series can still enjoy the story without having to read the prequel.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

I have sampled the first few chapters of the book, and now that I've read the review, I feel intrigued to read on. Sampling the first pages of the book, I was unsure if it appealed to me enough, but the review is clear that there is much more thrill, suspense, adventure, magic, and humour to look forward to. So the review wins, and this book is on my to-read shelf :)

The review is super helpful. I feel like I learned a lot about what kind of book it is without the review ruining any of the suspense of the book. I also think it was great to add that this is the second book, as I know that I personally hate to read books out of order.
Well done to both author and reviewer!!

Kin's Quest by Ron Root seems to hold intriguing elements in its fantasy land. I would love to know how it unfolds the magic moments when Gresham and his wife undertake an adventurous journey to search for Rayna's missing mother.

Based on the cover, I thought the book was a little boring and basic, as it lacked intensity. I enjoy science fiction books, and magic is one of the most popular elements used in fiction. But I am not sure this book is for me, as I still believe it lacks an attention-grabbing element.

This sounds like an enchanting adventurous book of fantasy.
Gresham seems like a very motivated individual, seeking relevance in his society with his magic powers.
Thanks for the great review and congrats to the author.

I don't often read sequels, but I might check this out. There's something charming about a character who wants to prove himself worthy of existing to become the best of his abilities. The humor makes it engaging to read. Congratulations on the BOTD
