"Angel Falling" by A.D. Landor. An interesting book, talks about both the angel of good and evil. The good angels teaming up together and defeating the evil angel. Azshael on his own side is a fallen angel having to team up with Succae's Serrate Lytta. A must read book for me. Congrats on your #BOTD.

The book sounds intriguing combining angels, vampires and a murder mystery. It will be interesting to go along with this duo and find out whether this killer really had something to do with the murder of Azshael's former lover. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Honestly, I find it very interesting that a vampire and an angel come together for the same cause. This story sounds like something I would definitely read. Thank you for this great recommendation.

I loved so much about "Angel Falling" by A. D. Landor. The art used for the cover of an angel in battle armor, ready to fight, is precisely how I pictured Azshael. I particularly liked Landor's writing style; some of the sentences are beautiful and poetic; for example, on page eighteen, "He was the Succae Warlord incarnate, and all around him light diminished as inevitably as the dusk devours the day." A.D. Landor uses unusual names for the characters, which are relatively easy to pronounce. I liked this as it allowed the story to flow well. Landor describes a fantastic fantasy world of angels and vampires that is the perfect environment for Azshael and Serrate Lytta's murder investigation. The diverse mix of characters is well-defined and gives the story great depth. Many plot twists kept me turning the pages to find out whether this unlikely angel and vampire duo found out the truth behind the murders!

This is a fantastic review, Tara! I sampled this book and got the feel that it is a fantasy, but your review opened my eyes to its murder mystery aspect, so as a fan of murder mysteries and fantasy I should read it! I also agree with your all-stars rating and that the names of the characters are unusual but easy to pronounce.

I like how the author used a new take on the supernatural world. Creating new names for the angels' party and the vampires' clan and making the conflict between them and not between vampires and werewolves as usual is admirable. The plot seems to be well-woven and gripping. Congratulations on BOTD!

"Angel Falling" by A.D. Landor is the story of Azshael who investigates a murder. Along the way, he will find out that it is actually a conspiracy with the aim of destroying the truce and starting a new war. The author's descriptions of angels in battle armor are very vivid.

The language employed by the author is evocative and almost poetic. It is a welcome change to the mundane. I also appreciated the world-building at the start of the book.
