I saw that the whole series is on Kindle Unlimited! Immediate plus points for me!
Honestly, this review got me really hyped to read this. The fact that she bought the hardcopy of the book is a good sign.

This sounds like another excellent entry into the world of fantasy with a subtle nod to the greats of the genre like Lord of the Rings. It means a lot that the review loved this piece enough to buy the author's work in order to support them; in this day in age of freebies and pirating that speaks for itself. Thanks for the review.

Great review by Duende Knocking. In my country we call a dwarf 'duwende'. Kidding aside, I find that this book is quite similar to Narnia or Harry Potter genre. And this is what I like most. It's a pity that this book lacks romance. If the target reader market is the youth, then the author should put in a sprinkling of courtship and romance which they so avidly like. :tiphat:

You already had me with the promise of epic fantasy, but the strong heroine and overall strength and prominence of women throughout really entice me. I will definitely have to add this to my "to read" list. Thanks for the wonderful and convincing review!

wow! It sounds like the author really hit the mark with this one. I'm most intrigued by the strong female presence in both the characterization and the world building. I'm excited to sample this one!

King's warrior by Jenelle Schmidt.
A fantastic fantasy book where one of the character is a woman warrior.
Kamarie, a fiesty princess loves adventure. So, when her father sends her on a quest to seek out the legendary warrior and request his aid in defeating the Dark Invaders, she is thrilled that her dreams are going to come true.

The official review of King's Warrior by Jenelle Leanne Schmidt made me want to run and buy everything this author has written. I usually hesitate before immersing myself in books with new worlds and language because it often requires so much effort to learn it all in order to truly enjoy the book. The review of King's Warrior indicated that this merely added to the story rather than weighted it down. I also liked the reviewer's discussion of gender roles in the characters.

Congratulations for a wonderful review!

This book would probably be taken by readers who are also interested in the story. I would also try this one soon.

You did a remarkable job on your review of today's book of the day. After reading your review, the preview and other reviews I have moved this one to the top of my to read next pile. All the characters were ones that are easy to relate to. Kamarie shows her qualities and that she is able to do more than most people think.

Wow, this book sounds right up my ally! I love fantasy books and I'm always looking for something new to read. Thank you for posting such a thorough review. The world sounds like a cool one. You've intrigued me with your description of the dragons- I can't wait to read about them! I love it when authors come up with unique ways of incorporating mythical creatures, like dragons, unicorns, chimera, etc. Seraphina by Rachel Hartman is a good example. I am a little disappointed there is no romance- I actually love a well written romance in a fantasy novel as long as there's no insta-love or love-triangle tropes. However, I think I'll still give this book a try. :D
