It must have been a challenge for Clovis to be taken from his family at age 7 to train as Athena's newest holy warrior. Hopefully, he developed a trusting relationship with his mentor, Warhawk. I am interested in getting to know the eclectic group of characters and finding out if they rescue the princess from the cursed keep! Excellent book review and congratulations to Charles Embrey!

"The Lost Keep" by Charles Embrey Jr. An interesting fantasy novel, talks about the Princess who has been trapped inside a cursed keep for hundreds of years. Many heroes came to break the curse but failed. Clovis, a young hero came after many years with his mentor Warhawk in an attempt to break the curse and save the Princess. The characters are so unique and legendary. Congrats on your #BOTD.

The book sounds very interesting. The cursed city that becomes visible for only 24 hours and then disappears again for 100 years is intriguing. The book is definitely filled with lots of mysteries, adventures and various monsters. It will be exciting to read it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

'Official Review: The Lost Keep' by Charles Embrey Jr. well presents the science fiction tale for readers. The reactions to the book provided by the reviewer were interesting to follow. The point that the book describes the story of the king's daughter, Princess Abigail, trapped inside the cursed keep is worth mentioning in the review. The theme of the story of uncovering the secrets within the lost keep was refreshing and entertaining. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that all the characters had different personalities and abilities that made them memorable is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book is recommendable to readers who like stories about adventures filled with action and amazing creatures!

“The Lost Keep” by Charles Embrey Jr. is a fantasy story and the 1st book in the Grey Realm Adventure series. There is a legend that a cursed keep only appears once every 100 years in the lost kingdom of Zahn. The king’s daughter Princess Abigail is imprisoned in this keep and many have tried to free her. Fast forward for 500 years and a new hero has appeared that wants to break the curse and free the princess. A very exciting story and makes me wonder if the princess has aged over the past 500 years. I assume the king has died so who is ruling the kingdom. There are many unknowns that require members to read the book. I am adding it to My-To-Read shelf. Very good review.

Thank you for the review, it is one that has me ready to read the book. There is nothing I love more than a fantasy adventure with strong and unique characters and a descriptive writing style. I am interested to see the group dynamic on this quest and hope to see that a few of the people on this adventure are female and not just males.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story about a band of heroes that are tasked with entering the mysterious "Lost Keep" and rescuing a trapped princess. Will they all survive this quest? It might be worth a second look. Well done.
