I'm not much of a fan of vampire stories. Maybe this book would be a good start. Thank you for the review.

An interesting and thoughtfully written review that covers everything but doesn't reveal spoilers. From the sample that I read, it looked intriguing as well.

I also like the difference in these vampires compared to the "standard" characteristics of the Twilight vamps. However, I am not a fan of explicit violence or too much sexual description, so I don't think this one is for me. But I applaud the author using her own creativity in creating a vampire.

I have only ever watched vampire movies, never tried a book. But o recently read a book that took me into the world of demons and power play, and to be honest i quite enjoyed it. This book seems to travel along similar lines, so I'm glad to put it on my reading list. And thank you for a great review. Just enough of the story line to keep us the potential readers intrigued. Looking forward to the originality you hinted on.

I've always been attracted to stories about vampires. Now, I'm intrigued about how Sylvio became one. :eusa-think: Besides, the fact that one doesn't have to read the first novel in order to understand the second is a plus. Nonetheless, I do not like reading about graphic violence. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this one though.

I normally do not read paranormal romance, but this book definitely sounds intriguing. A free book to boot...looking forward to checking it out. Thanks for your insight!

Sounds like another vampire tale with witches and all thrown in. I honestly lost interest quickly into reading this review, but I can appreciate the different twist of the story. Great job on the review.

Great review! I have read so many vampire stories that I have already become jaded with the usual vampire stories. But this book, Sylvio: Past and Present by R. E. Beebe, stands out in that the vampire can walk during daylight and the vampire's kiss can be healing. And I will make sure to buy the first volume in order not to miss anything. :tiphat: :techie-studyingbrown:
