Tal, the central character the story revolves around, seems to hold every aspect of the story, and how she redeemed herself seems worth reading this fantasy.

The Hermit Gryphon is a fiction story set five sun revolutions after Sunsky becomes the Oracle Queen. Talona, a character who was supposed to get soul healing from Light Healer, turns on her father, King Sun Quest, and Light Healer. She lands at Gargoyle's Scrubland, where she encounters gargoyles and is attacked by them. Despite her power, Tal is apprehended and imprisoned. The narrative revolves around Tal's effort to redeem herself by dominating other gryphons. The tale features excellent character development, particularly Griper's strong attachment. The editing is superb, and the graphics are breathtaking.

Not sure if this is my type of book, but it sounds like a great fantasy book for young adults! And your review was well written and made the book seem intriguing. Well done!

This book seems to be an adventure-filled novel so I’m looking forward to digging into this one to know how Talona will survive and succeed the challenges thrown at her and how her headstrong and rebellious personality will lead her.

This is the first fantasy story I have read. The sample was a good introduction to the characters. The main character leaves her family and travels to a place of healing and teaching. She meets another character along the way, and they bond after escaping from an attack by bad characters. This book would be for all ages.

The gryphon appears to be an exotic creature and the story of their dealings. Mythical stories like The Hermit Gryphon are really creative. From the review, it is evident that the book contains life events resulting actions, which makes it interesting for the readers.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Sci-fi/fantasy books aren't a genre I enjoy reading. This one was easy to understand and the writing was excellent as you had mentioned. If I was going to read a book of this genre, this would be a great one. I hope many others will pick this up and enjoy the adventure.

The Hermit Gryphon by Paula Grover offers a fresh twist on the fantasy genre, focusing on the redemption arc of a villain rather than the usual hero's journey. The detailed character development and vivid illustrations make this a must-read for fans of character-driven fantasy tales.

What's better than a good fantasy novel? I'm definitely curious to see how Tal's story unfolds and if redemption is in the books for her. It seems like Griper and Tal forms quite a friendship being the outcasts and from the villains we might just learn something. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD.
