Not a book that matches my taste palette but I know this will be a perfect gift for my nephew. Need to get him a copy soon 😊

“The match will be at seven!” I like how this book doesn’t shy away from structured violence and from characters being themselves, as they express throughout. Vanguard is such an interesting phrase (even outside of the mutual fund perspective :)) and I’m glad to see it here.

Thank you for your informational review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. It sounds like for those who like this genre, this is a great book for everyone from teens on up. It has a little bit for those who like humor, suspense, fantasy, etc. Unfortunately, this isn't a genre I care for or follow well, so I will pass on it.

Although this book isn't for me, your review has emphasized the key points that would attract the right reader. It sounds like an exciting read with engaging characters; a sign of a good author. Thank you for sharing.

A fantasy novel with a ton of unique characters. It sounds a little too young-adult for me though, but I'm sure it'll have a broad audience.

Spirit Clayborn's journey from the slums to becoming a potential hero is gripping, set against a background of demon battles and tough choices. The mix of action, humor, and strong emotions makes this book a fascinating read for fantasy fans. Highly recommended for young adults who enjoy detailed, action-filled stories. Congratulations to the author, #BOTD!

I completely agree with your review of Demonslayer! The character development and the dual perspectives really drew me in as well. Spirit's journey and the dynamics within his squad were fascinating. I also appreciated the blend of action, emotion, and humor. Can't wait to read the next installment in the Vanguard Chronicles!

The review provided valuable insights. The plot appears to be an intriguing, action-packed fantasy. I'm eager to dive into the book to discover if Spirit is able to cure his sister and if the people of Crossus are saved.

The first captivating feature of this book is its title. Judging by the title, it's immediately obvious that the book is an interesting read. I appreciate the author and the reviewer for doing a great job.

Thank you for the very telling and thorough review of "Demonslayer" by Ian P. Eviston.
It certainly looks like an intricate and memorable story with people being infused with power, losing hands and arms and (ugh, shudder) cannibals.
Being the first in the series it is good that the characters are well developed and that there is a good strong plot with orphaned siblings and heroes.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

There seems to be lots of moving parts in this supernatural-action novel. Hopefully, Spirit is able to save his sister Emily and they can start anew after all that has happened to them. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy is my favorite genre, in this case I am discouraged by a low average rating. Still, I am intrigued by the lament configuration alike object on the cover and the description of the storyline is very interesting in the aspect of race's survival as well.
