I really love the honesty in this review and how justified the rating in. It is so important that you highlighted some important issues such as the lack of connection in the plot points! This is a really helpful review, thanks!

I was interested in reading this book initially. But, after reading the whole review, I don't think I'll be reading it. Though the storyline sounds intriguing, the author's inability to converge the plotlines makes this book less desirable for me. I don't want to read books where the ending of a book doesn't feel like an ending.

When books are wrote about space and galaxy, it must be really interesting as we will be under the author's imagination of the space. The review stated that humans left the earth to colonize other planets which is something new to us. This is because we used to read about aliens and other creatures colonize the earth and not human beings. Moreover, I'm really interested in knowing in more depth about the way the writer narrated the three plot lines.

Today's BOTD, set 1000s of years in the future, sounds like it's a good one for true SciFi fans, which unfortunately, is not me. Interested? The three plotlines, well-developed characters, and vivid, descriptive details are sure to keep you turning pages and wondering about the next in series. Thank you! :-)

Really am not a fan of science fiction & futuristic stuff - much of it tends to miss the mark in just the way you describe. Thanks for the excellent review, though.

The sample pages of this felt disjointed with two characters being shot at and then the scene switches to another character. So, I felt as I was reading just like you said here...it felt disjointed. I’m not a big fan of sci-fi and this one with all its flaws just doesn’t appeal to me. Thank you for the insight to this one.

It seems like having three different plots covering more than one planet is a bit complicated. I agree with you that having no resolution to any of the plots would not be very fulfilling after having read this first book of the series. Exploration of new planets and environments would be dangerous, and it is interesting that people hire Xeno hunters to help them. Carl Wolf sounds like he would be good at his job, but is sent to Oceanus after something went wrong on an exploration.

This sounds like a truly powerful, fun story with a unique setting. Sci-fi books are really one of my favorite things to read, and the concept is interesting! I may want to read this in the future. Congrats on BOTD!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story about space travel, a murder plot and a plan to escape the space mafia. For those into a science fiction space adventure, this book is definitely worth a look or two. Well done.

This isn't a genre I normally enjoy. After reading your review, I think this wouldn't be the book to start with. I like books that provide a sense of closure, and when reading a new genre, I much prefer to start with a simplified book. The varied plot lines that don't intersect and the sudden ending don't sound overly appealing to me. Thank you for posting your honest review.

So the year is 5568, that indeed is the future. My mind can't fathom that. If humans survive that long, I can't imagine what that looks like but I doubt Earth has survived more than 2000 more years. The author has to have an amazing imagination. The author clearly has talent so maybe a professional editor would help the grammatical issues. Oh and the cover the cool beans.

The universe building sounds like a lot of fun! Three separate storylines is a lot for an author to juggle. What a mighty endeavor! Great review!

Ugg that is so frustrating! It sounds like this book would have been better as 3 separate books focusing on each separate plot in it's own story. I dislike when I book doesnt conclude well! Thanks for the honest review. I would typically pass on this type of book regardless, but this ones a hard no for me.

This exciting sci-fi book follows three plotlines about humans colonizing distant planets. The author builds detailed worlds and interesting characters. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your honest review.
