Learning about the Hawaiian culture would be a reason for reading this book. I'm also rooting for Boy and Sistah and hope the Kāne brothers will not stop them. Thanks for your honest and insightful review.

A book about hawaiian mythology sounds fascinating. It's not everyday you come across a book like this. I am a bit disappointed that the author recommends this book to readers with a college background because it hints at the complexity of the language used in this book. I usually prefer simpler books, so I'll have to pass on today's BOTD.

This fantasy book seems to bring some aspects involving Hawaiian Cosmology and the adventures of Boy and Sistah and how they ended up in a magical place with two very different species. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

A sci fiction set in Hawaiian culture is quite a unique concept so that's one thing. I am happy that the author has provided a summary of book 1 and the glossary for Hawaiian terminology. Would like to check this book out as characters too seem to be quite engaging like the plot. Congrats on BOTD.

I did not know that the Hawaiian culture had its own version of cosmetology. This would be a great book for readers who love sci-fi novels and are interested in learning how to speak some Hawaiian words. Thanks for the review!

I really like the art style used in the cover of this novel. The topic of Hawaiian cosmology sounds fascinating to me. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy novel about Boy and Sistah that travel to a cloud city where they are imprisoned for illegal entry but escape due to a small creature assisting them. With the goal of uniting all of the islands in Ocean World, they attempt to leave but are blown off course by a monster-filled storm. Will they accomplish their goal? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This book is a sci-fi, fantasy action novel. Boy save Sistah from jail and have to embarked on a treacherous journey together. They need all the help they can get along the way. Reading can be difficulty, however the author provides certain tools to assist the reader such as a pronunciation guide, summarization of the first book etc.

I don't know much about Hawaiian culture, nor about Hawaiian mythology, but I'm greatly intrigued about it and I want to study it professionally. Because the book provided a guideline on how to pronounce Hawaiian words, I think this would be a great opening to understanding their culture.

Thank you for the review!

The book sounds intriguing, particularly the Hawaiian cosmology. The pronunciation and glossary also sound very helpful. I’ll want to read the first book before this one, regardless of any summary at the beginning of this story, but I’ll keep both on my “to read” list. Thank you for the helpful review.

Inspirational book, shows how union is powerfully, the boy rescue sistah from cave just because he knows there task to perform together, the task to unite all the islands in the ocean although they are facing some challenges but they cooperate each other to make sure they achieve their goals.
On another hand the book shows some cases may lead to someone being sentenced for the mistake he/she hasn't done willingly as in this book the boy and sistah unexpectedly found them selves in the magical and exortic cloud city without any documents to prove their legally accepted to be there
I will recommend other people to read this book as it's so educative, I will rate it three out of four because of the flows used by the author to connect current event and next being somehow confusing thus making it difficult to make connection between events

I'm in two minds with this novel, should I or shouldn't I. I don't always like sci-fi novels but then the story line does sound interesting. I want to know if Sistah and Boy finish their quest and the Hawaiian mythology does sound intriguing. Thanks for a great review.

The storyline of the book seems very interesting, I like the thought of having to get a glimpse into another language I'm not familiar with. I also find this. Pom adventurous as I'm curious to find out how Boy and Sistah finished their quest.
