You wrote a great review. I have only read one book and a little of two and three. I thoroughly enjoyed the character of Delvin and was very sad when his best friend, Borlock, was murdered by the black magician. I look forward to finishing the two books.

Based on a review of the previous book in the series, I would have to read the other book to know what the second one was about. I am glad I can read this book about Delvin and his friends without needing to read the other books to understand the events. Thanks for the review!

The persistence in the power struggle is something I look forward to in this series. Will Delvin succeed at his quest for good to prevail?

The fact that Delvin has a rabbit named Freda was charming enough to compel me into reading, and this excellent review put me further over on it.

The magical spell and Delvin's magic stone continue to engage the readers. In this third book, the magicians seem powerful as they plan to capture Delvin, and it intrigues me to know how Delvin defeats them this time.

It's good to know that Book 3 can be read without reading Books 1 and 2. It sounds like an exciting book, and if the action starts happening from the beginning, as you say it does, that is a sign of a book I want to read. You gave the book 5 out of 5 stars, which reassures me that it would be worth my time to check it out. Thank you for the wonderful review; it has helped me decide whether to read this book or not.

Today's BOTD is a third-in-series, adventure fantasy novel that'll have readers hooked from page one. The vivid, action-packed scenes and well-developed, familiar characters definitely make this book (and series) one you don't want to miss! Great work on your review...thank you!! :-)

In "The Magic Lantern" by Charles Townsend, Delvin and his friends face off against the magicians once again as they attempt to seize control of Argent and Hengel. Despite previous failures, the magicians return prepared, posing a new challenge for Delvin and his allies. The story captivates readers with fast-paced action, showcasing Delvin's growth as a magician. While the focus on Delvin is strong, some readers may miss deeper exploration of other characters. Overall, the book earns a 5 out of 5 stars rating for its engaging storyline and smooth pacing, making it a recommended read for young adults fond of fantasy and adventure. Thank you for a great review.

How the Magician's came back to power in a full Force, trying to take down Delvin, Despite the many obstacles Delvin and his friends faced in stopping the magicians, they kept going forward. "The Magic Lantern" by Charles Townsend. Congratulations to the author of being book of the day

This romantic fantasy is the third book in Townsend's Illusions of Power series. Princess Jarla, Delvin, and his apprentice attempt to prevent the capture of Hengel and conquer the Magician's Guild once and for all. I appreciate the exciting pace of action and adventure in the trio of books. Excellent book review!
