I love the theme of racism explored in this book. Despite the fact that Colonialism is a thing of the past, humans continue to experience racism which is very wrong. Your review was well-written. Congrats on making it to the book of the day.

I can't wait to dive into this fantasy as it sound so engaging. Seems like there is a lot a person can learn from this book, without even realizing it, especially the fact that everyone has a right to live in peace. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD.

The Goblin Addiction injects a healthy dose of absurdity into the fantasy genre, with its bizarre goblin subculture, philosophizing ogres, and a celestial goblin god with a penchant for flying unicorns. This unique world-building breathes fresh air into the fantasy landscape.

"The Goblin Addiction" by Joe Paul Vanhaverbeke is a dark fantasy tale set in a world where goblins are hunted by the Unctionites for their addictive essence. Through vivid storytelling, the book delves into themes of systemic racism, power imbalance, and spiritual concepts while immersing readers in an adrenaline-pumping adventure. With engaging dialogues and a philosophical twist, it offers a unique reading experience, albeit with graphic violence unsuitable for all audiences. Overall, it's a well-crafted work of literature deserving of five stars. Thank you for a great review.

The author introduces mystical beings, Unctionites, that have a literal taste for goblins. The Unctionites' failure to feed leads to a slow and painful death. Join the characters on unforeseen battles as warring factions fight for their existence.

I always appreciate it when dark themes are balanced with humor. I can't tip-toe into dark fantasy unless it is so, not full on dark or a true comedy but a blending of both. That's why The Goblin Addiction is a great fit for readers like me.

A novel, "The Goblin Addiction" by Joe Paul Vanhaverbeke, is written to stand fas a metaphor for systemic racism. It has dialogue that moves the story forward and is an enjoyable read. The reviewer from Online Book Club gave it five out of five stars and wrote an excellent and thorough review. Thank you!

I love when authors use fictional books as social commentary to address societal issues. It's often challenging to do that successfully without boring the reader. Well done to Joe Paul Vanhaverbeke for doing a splendid job on that front while still maintaining an entertaining tone throughout his novel.

This is a dark novel that involves goblins and unctionites fighting for power. It’s a very raw read and it’s not for everyone, but it’s sounds rather gripping! I live that there are also racism analogies, makes the book that deeper, thanks for highlighting that in your review!

While the book delves into darker themes that may not be for everyone, I can't help but admire the author's courage in addressing systemic inequality and spiritual concepts within the framework of a fantasy world. It's a bold move that promises a thought-provoking read.
