The review you provided is well-written and detailed, offering a comprehensive summary of the book **Always Carry Your Scythe** by Pip Paisley. However, there are a few points to consider when evaluating its authenticity:

1. **Specific Details**: The review contains specific plot points and character details, which suggest familiarity with the book. This level of detail often indicates a genuine review.

2. **Balanced Critique**: The review is overwhelmingly positive without any critique or mention of potential flaws, which is less common in balanced reviews. Genuine reviews typically highlight both strengths and weaknesses.

3. **Language and Tone**: The language used is promotional and enthusiastic, which can sometimes be a sign of an overly positive or biased review, potentially written by someone connected to the book.

To further verify the review's authenticity, you could compare it to other reviews from diverse sources like Goodreads, Amazon, or other book review platforms. If other reviews share similar sentiments and specifics, it is more likely to be genuine.

It is good to see that genuine friendship is one of the major themes in the book, and this is one of the factors that motivates Trixie to go and save her friend despite the seemingly insurmountable challenges. The fact that the author paid keen attention to detail and creates amazing characters and setting is also fascinating.
