This sounds like it has so many great elements. I absolutely agree that there are so many questions that hit you right from the start (and I developed more after reading your review). Who is August? Is Nija Eliza's son? Plus all of the questions you presented.

Eliza's son is sort of a saviour born to carry out a specific task in other to save the world, so it's her responsibilityto help her son carry out his task successfully irrespective of the obstacles following them and ahead of them.

I am not really a fan of time travel stories. This book is OK. But I doubt I will be reading it because I prefer watching this kind of science fiction than reading them.

The book felt like looking at the real events unfolding before your eyes. It's confusing at the beginning wondering
just what is happening but as the story unfolds its really interesting. I am in love with Nija and that book is one piece of writting. I just love it.

Can't imagine what it would be like for Eliza to first have to rescue her son, then find out he has to fulfill a destiny! Then, throw in dictatorship, Utopia, and a Resistance movement? Sounds pretty intense! I love how this SciFi captured your attention right from the beginning, and that it was fast-paced. It's also great to hear that cast of characters were entertaining and that you had a great time with this book. Too bad about struggling with the story and all the questions that came up, but it's great to know the author clears up the questions for you eventually. Thank you for the lovely review!

I am into science fiction and when I saw they are giving away one today, I never missed the chance to enter. The synopsis I got from the Amazon was a bit bland but thanks for your review, I had pretty much glimpse into the story and it might work with me well, too. :)

Time travel suddenly sounds interesting and it a book that would be worth reading. It would also be a great hit if it went to the screens. That was really a good review.

Wow, SciFi and especially time travel are amazing subject matter, they can go anywhere. I'm also very intrigued by the underlying social issues that this book touches on. This book brings to mind aspects of Looper, as well as the Terminator. Definitely putting this on my reading list.

I read a few sample pages of this book. I found it well written and the characters were interesting. I am not a Fantasy reader usually but love Fantasy movies. The review draws us in and makes the book very exciting. We want to travel on the adventure with Eliza and Nija. I am enticed to read this book thanks to the scene the reviewer sets of the characters and the time travel.

Momentum is gained from the start as their clever escape leaves behind an explosion of fire creating a tense introduction to their imminent adventure.

The Quantum Cartographer" by Kristen Keenon Fisher.]
I really enjoyed the book: d love of a mother to protect her child, d combination of the traditional science fiction I really enjoyed the time travel sci-fi novel and it would make a great adventure movie.

Thank you for the thorough review. Reading the sample left me wondering about where the story would go, and your description tells me it will be a literary journey worth pursuing.

Although this does not sound like a book for me, I'll glad that you enjoyed reading it so much. Congrats to the author on the 4/4 review.
