it's sad to hear about the untied ends or the decrease on action but the book has enough good points worth looking for like how it had good balance of action and suspense. i'm a big horror fan as well and i can't get enough of supernatural entities. good job on the review as always!

Good review, the book seems to have many of the things that interest me in a "casual" read. Looking forward to it.

What a well-thought out and articulate review! Thank you for your insights. I looked at the description and immediately thought 'nah, not for me' ... then I sampled it and loved the prologue and chapter 1. With your review, I will pick this one you, noting your hesitations, it still sounds like a decent read. Thanks!

The book has a perfect blend of action and suspence. I love spiritual books with a little bit of horror.

sounds interesting...unfortunately, my kindle makes art look like I'm looking at the wrong end of a telescope, so if I read a graphic novel(rare, but it happens) still has to be paperback.

Thank you for posting such a great review! I did read the sample of the book and was intrigued to know how the story unfolds. Your review answered a few questions I had about the story, and as someone who does not like to be left wondering, I'm not sure I will finish reading the book. I can look past minor grammatical errors if the bulk of the writing is worth it, but I have a difficult time getting past the lingering questions when the book is done.

I don’t think this book is my cup of tea; I’m not interested in graphic novels or the supernatural characters. I think this book definitely has a niche audience though and will appeal to many people.

While I do enjoy good sci-fi elements, this doesn't seem like much of a title I want to read. Especially after reading the sample in combination with this review. It just seems a little bit of a boring read for me personally. Thank you for the honest review!

Well it's a good try from the author, for me I don't fancy scifi books, but I do know people out there will enjoy this. Good one!

Thanks for the interesting review! I like that this book starts off with a bang! This gives me hope that this will be a good book. I am an avid fan of fantasy novels and this book sounds like it will be a good pick with it's blending of fantasy, supernatural and some horror. I'm eager to read more!

This book does not interest me at all, but I can appreciate how others would enjoy a graphic novel with a horror element.

I have to say that everything related to supernatural and horror is very engaging to me, but I do not enjoy unended stories, I think I will give it a try because I am very intrigued by the storyline and characters, it looks like the author did a great job developing his characters. Thanks for your review!

Well, torture stories may thrill only if one is not the victim. I will pass this one since I am not into this genre.

I would also wonder why the prologue would be a climax and then from your review, everything else is flat.
