This seems like a very interesting and exciting book. I wondered what happened to her father, and what type of teams she is part of.

The reading sample of the book immediately caught my attention in the beginning of the storyline. This novel will resonate with many readers who have attempted to balance college studies, careers, relationships, and family life. With descriptive details and a fast-paced environment, readers will be intrigued by the overall themes in this book one series. Thank you for an excellent review on BOTD!

The storyline of this book seems promising. I'm very curious to find out what project Kathryn worked on, and how it affected her. I really hope it didn't affect her relationship too badly.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

The mixture of the paranormal and the mob, as mentioned in the editorial review of the book on Amazon, is an intriguing idea. The mystery element seems like it could add a lot to the book as well. Thank you for the helpful review.

Thank you for another great review. From reading the sample I did like the author's style of writing. I wonder where the father went. I'm not really into magical and science fiction books, but I am sure there are many who will be fascinated with this book. I am glad you enjoyed it and it was edited well.

“Praesidium” by McKinley Aspen is the first book in the Shadows of the Wind series. The main character is Kathryn whose father disappeared on her 5th birthday. Kathryn grew up graduated from Yale University and she was offered a wonderful job opportunity for an excellent starting salary with Hope & Global Support (HGS). She also received medical, dental and retirement benefits. Kathryn joined a four-member team to work on special projects. One must read the book to find out what these special projects are, how Kathryn will handle her long-distance relationship with Scott and hopefully she will learn what happened to her father. Well written book with a very good review.

Exciting presentation. Sadly the plot involving family secrets didn't appeal to me much and so I'll have to pass on this one. But I'll definitely recommend this book to people interested in the genre.

"Praesidium" by McKinley Aspen appears to be a book with romance, mystery and science fiction all rolled into a story about a young lady who has just graduated from college. It seems that straight from college she is to work on a four person team that needs to save the world. The reader is invited to enjoy the fast pace and excitement as the story unfolds around the globe. As the team works together the reader is invited to learn about the importance of teamwork for the success of the project.
