Kin's Quest by Ron Root sounds like an amazing book. I'm intrigued by Gresham as a character and I would love to read the book and find out if the long and dangerous journey he and his wife Rayna took was successful. Congratulations on the BOTD.

"Kin's Quest" by Ron Root is a story about the fantasy world of Graal. An orphan named Gresham learns that he has magic ability and he travels to Suzerain to train to become a battle mage. His plan is to win his way up the social status ladder so he can provide a better life for his pregnant wife Rayna. Gresham did not know that Rayna was highborn so while a secret she already had a much higher social status. Rayna receives a map that will lead them to find her missing mother. This is the second book of the Tales of Graal and is an interesting story but the names are hard to remember. Good review.

Well done on the review. I'm not one for fantasy theme in a book, but this was an interesting one.

A great fantasy novel from your account. I would also like an intricate plot immersed in magic, and a story line in which each character has a personality of their own. These are attractive attributes of an interesting read.

I would hate to become an orphan, but I would love to obtain magical powers. I would also love to fight the societal system by using magic to climb the social privilege ladder. The name of Gresham's wife further catches my interest since my name is Raena, which is similar to the name Rayna. I do not read fantasy much, but your summary and clarification of some profanity caught my interest. Great review!

The concept of the map is one that I find particularly entertaining! It seems like Gresham and Rayna go on quite a lovely adventure as well!

Thank you for your great description of the book. If I was a fan of science fiction/fantasy, this would be an adventurous book. But it's not, so I think I would be very confused. I am glad that you enjoyed it, and it's nice that there was an explanation of the first book and so well-edited. I'm sure many others will also enjoy this book.

Kin’s Quest one of the fantasy novel that I’m waiting to read. Fictional characters and lots of magic written in this book. The story flows with young couple and their adventures.
