This fantasy novel seems both scary and engaging. I hope Clovis was successful in rescuing Princess Abigail from this curse. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for her; getting trapped and only appearing once after every one hundred years.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

The premise of this book reminds me of the 1984 movie "Conan the Destroyer". When it come to fantasy novels I usually pass on them, but since the story is goal-oriented, then I will give it a chance.

A fantasy epic with a cadre of heroes keeps the adventure alive in "The Lost Keep" by Charles Embrey Jr. The kingdom of Zahn appears once every 100 years and this book tells the tale as some heroes revive and rescue the princess after 500 years. It has got to be exciting.

I'm keen to find out if Clovis is the one to finally free Princess Abigail. Wow, you sound like you loved this story so much, giving it a perfect score, and the book contains no errors, that's a bonus. Thank you.

Sounds like an epic fantasy story. Unfortunately, I don't think I will read the book because I am not a big fan of fantasy stories.... I hope fantasy fans will find the story to be amazing. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

This seems like a captivating fantasy with a blend of adventure and mystery. All characters are well developed and engaging with a solid plot line. Can’t wait to read this soon.

Fantasy books are my bread and butter. I would really like to find out how their quest went. Even though, barring a plot twist, am sure they must be successful, I am quite sure reading this would be an extremely enjoyable experience. A very informative and insightful review, thanks.

I like the way the author introduces the story. We get to know Princess Abigail and how she was born and brought up. Losing her mother even before she was born was touching. She grows up to be a truly very beautiful woman only to fall under a curse because of her father's mistake. This story is so captivating. I know there are those saying that this is an old plot but there is something about this particular story that makes me want to continue reading. I really want to see what will happen to her in the end.

I feel like this is a story I’d rather watch than read. But again, fantasy isn’t a genre I usually enjoy reading anyway. I hope Princess Abigail was finally set free from the curse and that the events that led up to it were well-built-up. Congrats on the BOTD!

A very enjoyable science fiction tale of adventure. The descriptions of the characters were new and different, I could really picture what they might look like. The courageous warriors must all their skills to break the curse and free the princess! Although the storyline seems to follow a pattern, The Lost Keep was fresh and exciting. I felt for King Zahn, suffering for the loss of his daughter, knowing that this brave group would eventually save her, but not without facing extreme danger. A thrilling story and a great review :tiphat:

This is an adventure book that I'd also combined with thrills and suspense. It is like a fairy tale. I wonder if this new warrior is up to the task. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

It's incredible to start with, especially when it gets to the action part I enjoyed that part .A very interesting science fiction adventure story. The character descriptions are new and different and I can actually imagine what they would look like. Brave warriors must do everything to break the curse and free the princess! Although the story seems to follow a set pattern, The Lost Fortress is fresh and exciting. I feel sorry for King Zanes suffering the loss of his daughter, knowing that this brave group will eventually save him, but not without extreme circumstances.Welldone Writer
