Re: Review of Critical Habitat

Post by mrlefty0706 »

“Critical Habit” is a story set in a post-war society and it is an action thriller that studies the resilience of the human spirit. The two main characters are young rebels named X and Y that must operate in an autocratic camp led by General Speer. A unique feature of this story is each chapter ends in a cliffhanger that keeps the reader enthralled with the overall dystopian story. The official review describes this book as one that will keep the reader hooked from start to finish. I look forward to reading it even though sci-fi is not my usual genre. Well written with a very good review.

The book is an action-packed dystopian novel that explores themes of survival, resistance, wisdom, and the resilience of the human spirit. The two dominant characters helped in the development of the plot. it is a great book.

Critical habitat looks like an interesting read set in post war society with a domineering leader oppressing the citizens. It has interesting characters like Sun Bin who shape the story with his profound wisdom. A well narrated review with detailed mention of pros and cons. Would love to read this book

I love novels with a wise charector like one mentioned in the review. My interest has been piqued by the use of 'X' and 'Y' word's for the charector, there seems to be juice in the story... And what a fantastic review ... very well done.

The way the characters in Critical Habitat X and Y, were stated as being resourceful protagonists and then Mel, a prisoner forced to infiltrate the rebel camp gives one insight on what to expect, like a fight when carrying out their plans. Then another character Sun Bin an old man with wise sayings makes one want to dive into the book and get to read more of these wisdom sayings. Further looking at the 'Authority' camp led by General Speer alerts you on how he seems to be a brutal, heartless dictator and an oppressor which makes the plot more unpredictable and more like a bush war fare.

I appreciate the inclusion of the quote "Concern of the strength of others is weakness; mastering of oneself is wisdom." It's a nice touch to an already insightful review. I couldn't agree more with Sun Bin in this case.

I'm curious to see if the Rebels in this post war story manages to over power the Authority figure. Sun Bin sounds like a remarkable man and I'm intrigued to see what other wisdom he shares.

"Critical Habitat' by Terrence King is such an exceptional documentary that describes how two young rebels X and Y resist and fight the oppressive rule of the Authority camp led by General Speer, dominating the lives of the citizens. The review is so much better and it evokes into readers the desire to read the book and keep turning the pages.

"Critical Habitat" sounds like an exciting and engrossing, action-packed dystopian novel. The plot, well-developed characters, and word building say it all about the book. I am curious to see how X and Y use the crucial device to their advantage. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!
