I am not a reader of sci-fi or dystopian stories. That said, I did like your review. It told what the book is about very concisely. I don't think I will be reading this one though.

This book doesn't sound like my type of book (i usually go for for more YA fantasy) but I might check it out.

Thanks for your review! The characters' unique names (Battery Boy and Stuff) have left me curious about their origins. I also would like to find out the significance of Block Seven and what's inside of it. I couldn't imagine leaving Earth for ten years and returning to a dystopian landscape.

This post-apocalyptic n6vel seems engaging because of its well-written characterization. Further, the author's creativity in world-building will also make me want to read this novel. Thanks for an engaging review.

The book sounds outstanding, from the creative writing, characters and non stop storyline. But as you mentioned, "every chapter begins with a change of focus from the previous chapter, so readers who dislike frequently changing viewpoints may not like this tome." Which is the reason I find it hard to keep up and follow when a book is written like this. So glad you enjoyed the read!

Science fiction, written well, is hard to come by. I’m excited to begin reading this, for it looks like, from the review, it is sci/fi some right.

Character development is usually hard, and the fact that she says the characters are realistic, makes me pleased.

I love your lead-in! Very cleverly written segue. In terms of the book, I like the way you describe the characters. They seem to have unique perspectives, and the concept of addressing what different people value against an apocalyptic backdrop adds great dimension. Will be checking this one out for sure!

This book sounds like a read-worthy book that includes a captivating storyline. Because it belongs to science fiction and post-apocalyptic book genre, I hope it will attract a huge crowd of readers. The author seems to be very much talented, and she joins many blocks in the story while leaving a few by making room for writing the next book in the series. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

Your review is very, very comprehensive. The descriptions you provide with examples told me what to expect from the book. The book seems to be set in a post-apocalyptic world where there are some runaways and some people from old times returning from space. The premise seems very interesting. It did pique my curiosity. Thanks for the review!!

Blocks by Tara Basi sounds different from other science fiction novels. The plot caught my eyes. The idea of blocks is really wonderful. I'm looking forward to it. Congratulations on#botd.
