It seems the book hit all your X (as in "avoid by all means") factors. But thanks for visiting and commenting. I appreciate it.danielleamy wrote: ↑10 Jun 2019, 14:47 All dialogue, terrible editing and religious themes are definitely enough to put me off reading this. Well done for getting through the book at least! Thanks for the review, I know this one isn't for me

Let's not call it a mess, but a miss. (Does that sound any better?) Thanks for the sweet words!unamilagra wrote: ↑10 Jun 2019, 15:53 I usually like fiction based on Biblical themes, especially if they are a bit sacrilegious. That said, this one sounds like a mess. I always love your humorous tone in your reviews, great job!

For some reason, this really made me laugh. If this is a true sample of the dialogue in the book, then it sounds amusing. However, I'm struggling with the initial premise that the main character is Christian but doesn't believe in the veracity of the story of Genesis and Eden. I don't think I could read it but thanks for the review.Miriam Molina wrote: ↑27 May 2019, 02:28 One fine evening, Eve apprises him, “Dude, I have an interview with News One Southern California. Yep, the conversations take on that casual tone. Dude and Eve have a lot of pet names for each other. They're kinda close.Nisha Ward wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 03:18For some reason, this really made me laugh. If this is a true sample of the dialogue in the book, then it sounds amusing. Perhaps the author wanted to be unique, thus the structure of the book. It complicated things, though.sarahmarlowe wrote: ↑13 Jun 2019, 13:48 This book sounds like it had great potential. It's unfortunate that it was so full of errors. And, I'm not a big fan of huge blocks of dialogue, either. Thanks for your thorough review!
