Wonderful review! Sounds like you really enjoyed the book. Matures and infants, interesting naming there. But I think I will try to get the first book in the series before going into this one. I will check out the whole series.

Your review helped me to understand the main gest of the storyline and to know the different animals the Matures could shapeshift into. It sounds like a wonderful world with lots of action, suspense, mystery, and magic. Piper's evil brother Eli sounds scary, for Piper's mother to have to hide her in the third-dimensional world.

This review was really helpful and enticing. The whole concept having different worlds or dimensions is really mind blowing. I'm definitely going to get the first book in this series.

That's impressive that, despite being book 2 in a series, it was written well enough that you didn't feel lost in reading it. I enjoyed your analysis of the book. Sounds enjoyable to those who like this genre. I don't care for this genre so I'm going to take a pass.

This review definitely makes me want to give the series a try. The concept of the infants and matures sounds quite interesting. I initially thought the series was more suited to those interested in science-fiction from the sample, but based on the review I think I would enjoy it as well!

I frequently enjoy books with magic and shapeshifting. These books' universe sounds well-written and thought out. They sound like books I would enjoy.

It seems the author really took the time to create a complete and detailed universe that actually sounds interesting, but it would be better for me to start with book one.

Okay. I'm at the beginning where the different types of beings are defined and was confused about Matures vs Infants. I'm guessing that means that Infants are a bit like humans (in real life) because we're stuck in 3D. Interesting.
