What an interesting mash-up of genres. Not sure if this appeals to me or not. Might read the sample pages to get a feel for it and then decide. Thanks for your review.
We’re gonna need a bigger bookshelf.

I like this one already. It is right up my alley. Going off in different directions was a very good tactic. Adding it to my shelves.

This sounds like a great book! You definitely got me with the strong female character. I love that feeling when you're reading a book with suspense, and this one seems to have that. Thank you for the recommendation!

Because it is well-edited, well written, and has a strong female character makes it sound like one I will enjoy reading. As always, thanks for your interesting review.

Surviving Anstey sounds like an action-packed and well-executed story with many well-developed characters. I don't usually read books with paranormal elements but it sounds great nonetheless. Thank you for your review!

Pretty unusual and interesting plot, but I don't think it's for me. Nice review though :)

I like the idea that it is a mix between historical fiction and a bit of sci fi, it really sounds a lot like an adult Enid Blyton book, which is very appealing to me!

There will always come a time when the oppressed get tired of a tyrant and the next action is to rebel. Great review, it gives the reader a deep insight into what the book is about.
