the review reminded me of J.R.R.Tolkien's book The lord of the rings...the book uses the same elements and yet is so different.the neglected son turns out to be the true knight in a shining armour .the fantastical elements employed, bring novelty into the book and to the audiences.a classic good vs evil story

This book is really heavy on the fantasy and magic. It sounds really good. Great job on the review!

This isn't the type of story I generally like to read. You gave a nice summary of the book and it does sound interesting. Good job on your review!

I noticed a review on Amazon which complained about the unreadability of the names. Given the blurb, and this review, I can understand what they meant (though I never have a problem with odd names, my brain just pronounces them how it wants  ).

They do seem odd for this type of fantasy, and it makes me wonder about their inspiration. Some of them even seem almost aztec.

Not Earwig though
Pronouns: She/Her

Great review! This sounds like a pretty great fantasy read. I was reading another reply about something to do with the names. They are quite a mouthful, but one could expect it with a fantasy novel.

Wow between the review and the few pages you can read, this book sounds so good. I will put this one on my list to buy.

Aloha,

I only read part of the free sample! The book start out with a bang. Witch that is evil. I mean beyond evil. It seemed like it would be a good story.
