it's a thought-provoking novel that encourages readers to reflect on their own beliefs about destiny, choice, and the human experience.

Dystopian books are not my favorite book to read. This sounds intriguing though especially the part where AI are slaves rather than the oppressors. It is certainly unique. Thank you for your review!

I wasn't the biggest fan of 'Terms of Sevice' but maybe I'll like this one better. Great review.

I love the fact that the book is fast and quick to read, not some kind of boringly long one. I also am a big fan of everything related to sci-fi so im definitely reading this one.

Wow. When fantasy borders plausibility in such dark subjects, it makes me anxious. With the sudden rise of AI, this seems closer than ever. But your analysis was very interesting!

Congrats on BOTD. It seems this is the second book of the same series as yesterday's BOTD, which focuses on Kim after she is expelled.

Thanks for the interesting review. I'll have to come back to this after I've read the first book - even though you said it can stand alone, I don't want to miss out on any details!

This is an adrenaline-packed, fast-paced tale about Kim adjusting to her new home, the dangerous, crime ridden District 33, after she was exiled from the AI company and the safer inner districts for her rebellion against the AI company. Kim is forced to fight for survival amongst crooks and outcasts as she also fights for the freedom of the AIs. It's a suspenseful thriller filled with amazing twists and turns that are bound to keep the reader entertained until the very end and even sadden the reader that the story came to an end.
The gift turned out to be a curse. They killed him with kindness.
