I love a good mystery. I rarely read sci-fi, but this plot isn't as far-fetched as most sci-fi ones. Great review!

I am interested in this review's description of the book. An outing of three friends turns into a nightmare. Kidnappings and murder happen. What is going on? How will they help each other? Why is this happening? I guess I'll have to read this 5-star book to find out. Great review! :techie-studyinggray:

Great review! This sounds like it has all the elements to make for an excellent TV/film series. Even in the face of being a ” source of frustration for readers who crave immediate closure,” that can further speak to the strong storytelling skills of the author. If a sequel is done, I hope it manages to have everything that makes this book work so well (and possibly more).

It's an exciting review. Thank you.
This book sounds very thrilling.
Jake, Brad, and Larry, I do wonder what becomes of the three of them in this sudden twist of fate.
The drawback that you mention of the book is a powerful one, strongly reflecting the strength of Chad Wannamaker's storytelling abilities.
This book sounds like a sci-fi mystery not to be missed!
Congratulations to the author!!

Sometimes, we can be living our ordinary lives not knowing that fate has a higher purpose for us. This is what Jake and his friends soon realizes. How they navigate this newfound purpose is what this book is about.
