When reading science fiction, I thought: no, this book is not for me. When reading: time travel, I thought: oh yes, this book goes into my reading list. I am intrigued as to how the author can make it all fit, with present self meeting future self. A bit of humor in the writing style also appeals to me.

I must first say that I'm not sure I'd have wanted to read this story if I hadn't read your review as I'm not normally drawn to science fiction. However, your review is just descriptive enough to let me know I want to learn more about this neurodivergent young woman who is almost hit by a grey haired lady strangely resembling herself, yet also leaving much more to the imagination. :techie-reference:

A light, intriguing book by Lesley Smith, which has cleverly interwoven some young people into a fantasy, well laid-out novel. In this world, anything is possible, including the pleasant Tiffani finding herself as a Giddess.

I would totally freak out if I met my future self. And a little humor always helps! I'm also glad the book is accessible to all of us who are not too science-savvy. Congratulations!

In Lesley L. Smith's "A Discovery of Time and Space" (Tiffani's Perils, Book 1), we end in the unknown with Tiffani, our curious heroine. With the plot still rather unclear, book one nonetheless opens upon a universe that looks like an interesting venue for sci-fi stories.

"A Discovery of Time and Space" by Lesley L. Smith written around Tiffani, a WA girl with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who appears average is the central idea of the book. When Tiffani gets rescued from an automobile driven by a lady who looks like her, she hears the words, “You have the travel ability across time and space.” The book yarns a great storyline, which is originally designed without any time travel narrative errors. Therefore stress release and the literary devices of the author also include coined words and simplicity of vocabulary. The evocative author's gift of words in addition to a detailed plot build the book to an excellent rating of five stars. It was deemed highly-acclaimed, being seen as one of the Science Fiction books I have ever read.

The story starts with a compelling hook: Tiffani, who had traveled through space and time, made that very discovery. This distinct fact has been lost in the mists of antiquity for some canons, but it is still enough to capture the reader's attention and set the scene for further adventures.

The author's deep understanding of the complexities of time travel is evident on every page, yet the narrative never becomes bogged down in technicalities. Instead, Smith weaves a thrilling, emotionally resonant tale that keeps the reader hooked from beginning to end.
