Yes, I'm a fan of dystopian future fiction, and aliens decimating the Earth is a potential legit future. It's interesting that I've recently finished other books where the cliffhanger ending suggests a sequel is coming, which is great unless the sequel never arrives. I hope like you, that there is one for this book. I'm going to keep an eye out.

Yes - we know we're probably not alone and hope for that alien contact, but there's every chance they'd be hostile, like the murderous gorgons in this book. The sequel is already out in this case!

I agree; I do think they'll be hostile. yay, now that I know there's a sequel I'll add them both to my list.
