"Phill Boas presents The New Mind Travelers as a science fiction novel that uses science and technology to examine human relationships"A compelling narrative paired with an eloquent and insightful review.I wonder how a world without deception would be.

I have not read "The New Mind Travelers", but it sounds like a fascinating and thought-provoking story. The idea of a telepathic society without deceit, contrasted with Earth’s struggles, really interests me. I’d love to explore its unique perspective. Congrats BOTD!

This sounds like a compelling read. The premise of the book seems like a movie with the sci-fi themes. It's interesting to read about futuristic themes like this. Especially, the concept of different planets and the inhabitants. A great book to dive into.

This review offered me plenty to think about, especially regarding the depiction of Olarian society. The concept of a culture based on total transparency and mutual understanding is not only fascinating but also intriguingly unsettling. While I don’t usually lean towards science fiction, I’m definitely inspired to check this one out.

I am a fan of science fiction. After reading your review the storyline seems like something I will enjoy. I would like to know how Zed got his telepathic ability.

The review covers the general theme of finding new beings in another planet. The sample was downloaded and further reading will be a pass. Science fiction is not a preferred reading for me. The portion dealing with reading of minds and telepathy has some intrigue. The review is more interesting than the novel. Thank you.

Great review! I, too, am not a sci-fi fan, but this book has some interesting qualities. I don't think that I would like the fact that they can read your mind. I will put this on my reading list.

I really like how the book explores what society might look like without deception, especially through the Olarians' telepathic culture. Zed’s transformation and his relationship with Olaria sound like powerful ways to highlight the contrast between honest and manipulative leadership.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy is definitely not my cup of tea, because I am a down-to-earth kind of person and prefer more realistic stories. But come to think about it, the "destructive environmental, economic, and political issues were quickly making Earth unlivable" sounds quite real and not so distant future, so maybe I should give it a chance. Congratulations with BOTD!

I love how the book seems to be a learning point for humans on how they are actively destroying the earth with no care. And a non science fiction fan i did like the book.

Thanks for pointing out how the story compares human culture with the peaceful Olarian society. The idea of open communication through telepathy and a different approach to education and relationships sounds interesting. It’s good to know the book has depth beyond just the sci-fi setting, even if the editing needs work.
