I am soo love with the concept of the book. Despite of being abused by parents, Ori survived and follows his passion for music, also the love of a grand mother is shown in this book. I am eager to read the book.

Combining magic and self-discovery with fantasy and real-life inspiration, today’s BOTD follows a young boy who finds joy and purpose in music and art, using his creativity to bring happiness to the world, while challenging rigid education systems and celebrating creativity. Readers of poetic fantasy should check this one out some more! Thank you for your review; it was well-written and helpful. :-)

It is disheartening to hear about a child having to endure ill treatment by his own parents. It is good to know that the protagonist here finds his peace and happiness in the world of music.

Thank you for your detailed review. I hope the author addresses the concerns you raised.

I'm not sure this book is for me due to its slow pace and long descriptions, but it does seem to be a moving and inspiring read. It touches on important topics like abuse and grief, yet still manages to fill the reader with hope and warmth—especially when Ori meets the Light Goddess, who brings love, healing, and light into his life. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I think the story seems hopeful but somewhere it also shows harsh moments. Some readers may love this because it kinda expressive. Just because I love music and my one of my dream is to became a musician that's why I would say I the Ori' s dream is great 👍🏻

Cloris Athena's "Light Goddess" sounds like a truly enchanting and uplifting journey, following young Ori's path from despair to self-discovery, beautifully guided by the magical Florithena amidst a vibrant fairyland of celestial melodies and profound transformation.

I haven’t read the book yet but your description of Ori’s resilience and the emotional journey he goes through really resonated with me. It sounds like the author has created a deeply moving story that blends magic with real human struggles, especially around self-worth and healing. This review has definitely made me curious to experience Ori's journey for myself.

Light Goddess is a mystical, empowering tale that merges ancient myth with modern spirit. From the first chapter, the story wraps you in a rich world of divine femininity, ancestral power, and personal awakening.

The protagonist—embodying the “light” in every sense—journeys through spiritual realms, inner battles, and forgotten truths to reclaim her divine essence. The writing is poetic but accessible, painting vivid scenes without overwhelming the reader. There’s a rhythm to the narrative, almost like a chant or ritual, which fits perfectly with its goddess-centered themes.

What stands out most is the message: the divine isn’t distant—it’s within. And through trials, heartbreak, and wisdom, we are invited to remember our own light. The symbolism is deep, sometimes dense, but rewarding if you read with your heart.

The only critique I have is that some parts felt slightly repetitive, and a few minor characters could have been fleshed out more. But overall, this book left a lasting impression on me—not just as a story, but as a spiritual experience.

If you're drawn to mythology, feminine power, or soulful fantasy, Light Goddess will speak to you.

Congrats on BOTD!
Cloris Athena's novel "Light Goddess" tells a tale of generosity, tenacity, and the quest to discover one's abilities and destiny. The narrative centers on a young boy who departed with an extremely low assessment of his own talents and skills.

A story about about recovery transformation and self-acceptance. Ori's story calls for deep reflection on perseverance, kindness, and the pursuit of purpose despite the odds.
"Light Goddess" by Cloris Athena is a mix of magic and discovery, giving the book a lyrical and poetic feel.
