I haven't read Project Tau yet, but I did sample it, and I remember it gripping me from the very beginning. It speaks to the skill of an author if they can write a second book in a series that is just as good as the first, but it seems this one might just be even better from your glowing review!
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

I read the sample, and this book seems like a very exciting science fiction.

This is book 2 of the series, and it seems to be an action-packed, adventurous, and exciting book just like book 1, Project Tau. I like that the characters are "extremely realistic" and the fact that the story rouses an array of emotional feelings, such as "joy, pain, sorrow", and etcetera. It's a book worth reading. I will read it. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I like your review and your suggestion that we read the first book before diving into this one. I have read the review about Project Tau and I liked the plot line of that story. I like that the story continues on as a science fiction/adventure novel complete with heart pounding action.

This is certainly a sci-fi that stretches the imagination and entertains the reader immensely. The author's ability with words is impeccable as she brings the characters to life. I found myself rooting for Kata and Tau in the review and I look forward to reading this book and it's predecessor. Thank you for an enthralling review.

Not exactly my idea of a good reading material, because in my opinion this kinda books are all the same. Unfortunately, I will have to skip this one, since it is totally not up for my tastes. Good job anyway!

I have not had the opportunity to read the first book of this series, but by the look of the free sample on Kindle, I can say this book is pretty good. I confess I was kind of lost at first with this new world that intertwines magic, computers, and teenagers evolving as a person and a machine, but again I haven't read the beginning of this saga. Nice review :techie-reference:

Good review. Seems like a great series to read. I’m a stickler to reading in order so I’ll have to start with the first one. It sounds entertaining.

I've been into sci-fi/fantasy lately, but I think this is more on the action side where I don't have to worry much about the details of its science aspect and I get to enjoy the thrilling scenes more. This is an interesting book and series that I'd love to read in the future.

(Also, I think the cover is really, really cool.)

How Kata and Tau would be able to evade another capture seemed to be the main focus of the novel. I am looking forward to know the different worlds the author created in this book and how diverse each is. A definitely must-see science fiction novel made to be seen in a wide screen, based from the reviewer’s amazing praises.
