As a teacher, I was immediately intrigued by a mute student. However, I was slowly disappointed. It was confusing that both main characters have the same name, and within the first ten pages, Cooper speaks. Although I am slightly curious to what happens next, I am not hooked.

Sounds like an exciting read. The chemistry between the two protagonists seems to be one of the strengths of this novel, and it's something to look forward to as the series progresses. Thanks for the review.

The free sample was very interesting and the characters caught my attenion immediately. The special bond Cooper and Coupe established was amazing and heartwarming. The official review does not leak the ending so the desire to read the entire book is there and knowing there is a sequel really makes me want to read the entire book. This book is categorized as science fiction so my interest in learning Cooper's secret for his incredible strength and the fact that the beating Kevin H. tried to deliver and did not leave a mark makes Cooper sound a lot like Superboy. Coupe is also special but not for his physical abilities but for his ability to read people and teleconnect with Cooper. I also wonder about Cooper's parents Evelyn and Everett. Are they from another planet? Are there aliens living amongst us? The sample and official review have convinced me to read the entire book. I agree with the 4 out of 4 stars rating.

Coupe and Cooper have different strengths and weaknesses and it is their differences that brings them together. I'm curious to find out what happens next after the boys become friends?

What are Coupe and Cooper? Are they the only ones? Is the world truly ready for them? These are interesting questions that I would love to find answers to. Congrats on the BOTD.

This is a fantastic sci-fi novel, with a lot of morals to be derived from.i love the friendship and the bond of family that was highlighted in the novel, it makes me believe that the world could be a better place if we could protect one another like Coupe Daschelete and Cooper callister

Based on your reaction in your review, this sounds very interesting, humorous, and exciting to read. The strengths and weaknesses of the characters sound like they only add to the deeper development of the characters. It is cool to hear that all of the characters are interesting to learn and read about, and not just the primary ones. Thank you for the book recommendation and your informative review.

What a tantalizing review! Between this and the sample I know that I absolutely have to read this.
I felt such empathy for Cooper and Coupe that I need to find out what happens next.Even better, I see that there's a sequel to this book.

A science-fiction book that also deals with abuse and the power of friendship, imbued with humor. It sounds like an all round entertainer. Congrats to the author on BOTD!
