Very likable plot which features good vs evil.I also like the the themes and values that are highlighting family values and kindness. I am curious of the connection between Detective Bailey and Kurt and also the stone. Great read! I will definitely will read this soon.Congrats BOTD!

It sounds like the author has blended the sci-fi and fantasy genres very expertly with the crime/thriller/mystery genres in this novel. And, I'm interested to know why only Kurt can hold the mysterious stone and not others.
Thanks for this thorough and fantastic review. :tiphat:

Can evil be defeated really? The story is a reflection of our world today where evil keeps increasing. Nice review.

Using a special stone as the basis for this story is quite interesting. I enjoy the fact that the religious undertone is not right in the reader's face as well. Thanks for the review! :)

The premise certainly sounds up my alley, even if it’s more geared towards young adults due to the thirteen-year-old protagonist. This review makes both protagonists (Kurt and the detective) seem a little flat at first, but the Amazon description indicates more layers to them, so I think I’ll give this book a try when I have the time. I do like urban science fantasy and thrillers (depending on the subject). Thank you for the helpful review.

sonya01 wrote: 30 Dec 2021, 17:08 This sounds like the kind of story that engages the reader from the opening pages and continues to do so till the very end. I really like the crime detective aspect of it with a supernatural slant. Sounds very appealing - thanks!

:D :D Oh! This book sounds like just the type of thing I am into! I like how the story seems to include themes that are hot-topic issues right now (the microchip and biblical prophecy). So, I am adding this book to my "Want to Read" shelf...

Indeed the fight of good against evil is as old as time but then I believe good will always emerge as Victor. Quite an interesting storyline
