This will be a great fantasy and adventure book. After reading the first paragraph of this review, I already started asking questions like who killed Borlock?

Magic and murder mysteries are a winning combo for me! This book sounds amazing, and I'm already rooting for Delvin. Great review, and congrats on book of the day.

After learning he had been set up to assassinate his hero, Delvin must have experienced emotions I can only imagine. I'm curious to see if his mission and that of his partner will be successful. Wonderful review

Now all I have to wonder is who would have framed Delvin and why. I'm convinced that this book will provide me with the thrill I seek.

Following Delvin's journey to becoming a magician and also trying to solve his friend's murder seems like a fantastic and suspenseful read. I look forward to finding out who framed him. Congrats on BOTD.

This book appears to be one with many plots in it. I cannot imagine the fear Delvin felt when he saw that he had seemingly killed the friend he looked up to the most. Readers who like suspense may enjoy this one. Thanks for the review!

"The Magician's Secret" by Charles Townsend is a book for teens that is a fast-paced mystery that I was so impressed with the official review and book that I purchased this book and the next two books in the series. Delvin is the main character and he has been totally into magic since he learned about it. Did Delvin kill Borlock, his magician teacher? I do not want to give away any spoilers so I recommend this book and I am sure I will feel the same way about the next two books in the series. Very good review.

This story was interesting in the beginning, I liked the whole chaos that followed the death of Borlock and how Delvin was able to escape. It however became too juvenile as I read on.

The plot sounds fascinating and your review had piqued my interest in this book, although I'm not a fan of magical books.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy adventure story about a young magician, who discovers the body of his magical mentor and is unsure of whether he is culprit, that is trust into assisting a Princess and a warrior in saving the kingdom from a war. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I'm sincerely wondering in my mind what must have been going through Delvin's mind when the reality of what had happened dawned on him. That's what happens with magic sometimes. The reality strikes you after the deed has been done. I don't like magic but I also wouldn't rate it off also. The world in-fact runs on magic. What an interesting review. Congratulations on BOTD.
