I love watching horror movies but I haven't had the chance to read a horror book. I hope Disarrhoea is worth my time. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.

Reading six short stories in a single book is a very enticing prospect, though I am sure if the author wishes it is possible to breakdown the stories into a six part series with the same writing style that he uses if the author is open to suggestion. :tiphat:

I don't usually read short stories but these ones seem very interesting. I am eager to try them out as they are sci-fi horror stories. I am especially interested in Disarrhoea as its premise of a disorienting airborne pathogen on humans and the resulting breakdown of society evokes memories of 2020. Congratulations on BOTD.

When I saw the title, I thought the author meant diarrhea which is known to be a common disease. Nice review!

After reading the sample I was very confused as to what the story is really about. I thought the review might clear that up but it seems like the book is just that, chaos. I'm kind of split in two as to whether I want to read it. Something about it seems extremely intriguing but I'm also afraid that I'll lose interest towards the end of the book.

"Disarrhoea" by Kevin Vodden is an anthology of six sci-fi horror stories. Disarrhoea is a tale of the effects of an airborne pathogen on humans and the resulting breakdown oof society. Fearground takes place on the most frightening thrill ride. Terror Pericolosa is about the exploration of an unknown planet by colonists from Earth. The other three tales include gigantic wasps, literally eating thy neighbour and the assigning of intellectual qualities to dogs and cats. A very interesting variety of horror tales that are well written and readers will actually feel like they can see the action take place. I am adding this book to my Want to Read shelf. Very good review.

The premise of the book is sound. The first tale of the book, "disarrhoea" reminds me more of the time of pandemic. The author did a good job it seems with blending horror and sci-fi together. I might give this one a try. Congrats on BOTD!

Vodden's anthology is an entertaining thrill ride for any fan of science fiction or horror, blending the two seamlessly.
This right here attracts me to the story! I love a good anthology of horror! Sounds like the author did a good job with his 6 stories! Review definitely interested me in wanting to read the book!

The short length of the book and the genre mix is calling me to dive right in. I love sci fi mixed with horror, and Kevin seems to have done a great job in it. Congrats on BOTD!

I'm not a fan of science-fiction books so I would pass on this way. Though I say congrats to this book of the day and a satisfactory review.

It seems this book focuses on health, based on what I gather from the review. The cover page, however, looks like a children's book. I don't think I'm up for a sci- Fi horror, but the book sounds like an amazing book. Congratulations on your win.

From the title of the book, I already sense that it will be scary. I like the creativity in the storyline. Disarrhoea is a unique book indeed. Nice review.
