Shane Hallawa's storytelling in "The Stylite" is exceptional. The author's ability to seamlessly incorporate elements from Christianity, Zoroastrianism, and Islam into an action-packed adventure is truly impressive. Congratulations on the Book of Today Award.

The review is well written. It seems that Teresa's story and her confrontation with the challenges she faces are carefully woven fantacy. I don't like linking religions to stories, and I hope that the way ideas are presented is well expressed without stereotyping. Congrats on BOTD

Thank you for the detailed review of "The Stylite" by Shane Hallawa. It was intriguing to learn about Teresa Amadei's journey and the blend of action, adventure, and fantasy elements. Your emphasis on the book's rich incorporation of martial arts and mysticism, along with the themes drawn from various religious traditions, caught my attention. The fact that the author explains complex themes before diving into the story is a thoughtful touch, and the inclusion of pictures to enhance understanding sounds like a great addition. It's impressive that the book was exceptionally edited, with no grammatical errors. I understand your point about the language of the Daemoklos making the book bulkier, and I agree that translations could have streamlined the reading experience. Overall, your review makes me excited to delve into this transformative journey and explore the detailed world Hallawa has created. Thank you for sharing your insights!

Teresa Amadei's new life as a demon hunter and bearer of light and her encounters with Daemoklos on her journey to Alexantine sound interesting. I love fantasy, and naturally, I'm curious about the city of refuge, the stylites (demon hunters), and the demons. Thanks for the review!
