The book seems to strike a balance between innovative science fiction concepts and relatable, emotional storytelling, making it a standout read for those interested in the possibilities of space exploration and human connection.
“The Keepers” is about a boy named Jonas who has mysterious injuries that appear during full moons. The book's vivid writing and emotional depth make it a captivating mix of adventure, sci-fi, and self-discovery. The review is well written. #BOTD
Jonas's ability to dream trek to other planets while sleeping is incredibly fascinating. I look forward to reading about his experiences there, particularly as regards the culture of each of the planets he visited. I'm impressed to know the author posseses a great writing style.
The Keepers is without a doubt worth reading. It is always when the government discovers anyone with unique powers that everything goes south. I will love to read about Jonas and all his other versions on the other planets. Thank you Michael and congratulations!
Life will go whichever way. Changing it is up to a very powerful force
I agree that the concept of dream trekking, of Jonas existing in duplicate on eight other planets, is unique and intriguing. I would love to read the book to understand the science part of it. Thanks for the review!
Hi @Shanesha Sammerson, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Keepers" and I really liked the way you summarized the story. Easy to read and not too wordy. @Mrlefty0706
Hi @Atieno Magero, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Keepers" and while you did touch on some key points I look at forum posts as proof that I read the sample and the official revew and highlight the most interesting or fascinating facts in the story becasue I want other readers that read my review to want to read the book. Consider my comments which added to yours would make a much more exciting review and encourage of members to read the book. “The Keepers” by Michael D. Komeshak is a fascinating story about a boy named Jonas that experiences strange dreams every night there is a full moon, and he wakes up with bruises all over his body. The sample only covers a small part of the story, and I would like to learn why this happens and learn about the eight other planets that Jonas exists on. Bert and Abby are Jonas’ parents and Bert thinks he might be responsible for Jonas’ injuries since when he drinks, he does not remember what happens when he is drunk and goes home. Abby does not think Bert is hurting their son, but they are both baffled. I also want to learn how the federal government learned about Jonas and his special abilities, how the Indian Chief is involved and why the sample starts with Jason on a hospital bed and very close to death. Bert has a hand-held devise at Jonas’ bedside that would enable him to end Jonas’ life with a click on the screen. I was on the edge of my seat reading this sample and I cannot wait to read the entire book. Let me know what your think. @Mrlefty0706
