I love science-fiction, now when combined with romance and fantasy, I can't miss this. I like Lilla, she's kind and does not stand with the injustice of her people. Nice one.

This book has a very attractive cover. Unfortunately, the story is not for me. The 19 year old risking her life and the possibility of being charged with treason, mixed with magic and the rest is not my fancy. Thanks for the review.

I appreciate it when fantasy novels are mixed with romance. The resultant effect is always an engaging read. Congrats on BOTD.

I like the storyline. Although, it sounds typical, it is still fascinating. An heroine makes it more interesting.

Thanks for your review! From the sample, I could tell this was going to be a good book, and your review has confirmed it. I liked the way the story hit the ground running though I'm sure the high pace contributed to the impatience you felt when there was too much talking during a suspenseful scene. The elements you included beyond what was in the sample has made the book even more intriguing.

Sci-fi and fantasy usually make for a good story. This book sounds exciting. Lilla sounds like a likable main character. I will read this for sure.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. It appears that you really enjoyed this book. I am not currently interested in reading a Sci-fi novel, so I think I am going to pass on this one for now.

Very interesting story it has reminded me of one phrase about the influence of evil on humanity. Dark Lord of Destuction storyline has gotten my interest in reading this book. Thanks for the informative review and congrats on BOTD.
