Sounds great, I enjoy suspense and romance, and the story sounds interesting.

This sci-fi meets history novel is full of twists and turns and emotional drama, following the events of the first novel. It also seems the author has kept up her high standard of writing. Thanks for the great review!

This sci-fi/suspense thriller sounds very interesting. I like that romance is incorporated in it as well. Thank you for the review, I look forward to reading the book.

Thomas seems like a character that I would love. He finds it in his heart to forgive even though he suffers from depression due to his oppressors. Seems like a great read. Great review.

Thanks for your review. The second part of the trilogy, following the story of Thomas and Kat after they married and had a daughter.

Even though this sounds like a compelling read, it's really not my thing. Regardless, congratulations on the book of the day.

It seems like a mixture of so many genres. I like the science fiction part of it.

Thomas and Kat struggle to move on since Thomas faced a traumatic experience at the hands of Anstey. The story explores the themes of history, romance and sci-fi through the lenses of this couple.

I didn't read the first book, Surviving Anstey, because I wasn't into the story, so to say. So I doubt I'll read this one. However, this sounds like a fitting sequel to the first book.
Congratulations to the BOTD.

Even though this is the second book in the series, it sounds worth checking out. Especially if you are interested in suspense, science fiction, romance and history. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

The story sounds interesting, particularly the combination of science fiction and historical fiction. The strain on the protagonists’ relationship sounds compelling and heart-wrenching as well. Still, I haven’t been able to read the first one yet due to my busy schedule, and I prefer to read a series in order when I can (especially when the premise sounds as complicated as this one), so I think I’ll wait on this one until I can. Thank you for the helpful review.
