Despite defeat in the first and second books in the series, the magicians try again to conquer the cities of Hengel and Argent. Delvin is forced to use his magic stone again to save the cities. But will he succeed? The black magician is someone to look out for! The fast pace of the story keeps readers interested throughout their reading session. I enjoyed reading your review.

Hi @Tejas Koli, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Magic Lantern" and I agree this book continues the action from book 2 and I think all three books are excellent for adults too. The magic tricks are wonderful and since a magician never tells his secrets one will have to try to figure them out by themselves. An enjoyable series. @Mrlefty0706

Hi @Shanesha Sammerson, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Magic Lantern" and I enjoyed your summary. This is another excellent book by Charles Townsend and while it is only a three book series, I hope he considers adding a 4th book. I think that even though this book was written for young adults it is a good read for adults too. @Mrlefty0706

This story revolves around the duchies of Hengel and Argent and is quite engrossing. It will be good to discover what the Magician’s Guild is plotting this time round in this third instalment of this series. I note the main character Delvin has a new apprentice Nippy. Thanks for the review.

This is the third installment in this series that follows Delvin, a magician and Jarla as they try to defeat their enemies and save the kingdom. I love that reading the first two books in the series left you wanting to read more, thanks for sharing that in your review!

Hi @Miracle Kingss, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Magic Lantern" and I highly recommend that you read all three books. They are well-written and enjoyable reads. Even though the books were written for young adults I think they are also great for adults. Delvin has really matured and is not only a very good man, but he is also an excellent magician. @Mrlefty0706

How far Delvin has come in this book, from training under Borlock in the first book to having an apprentice. Once again, Delvin and his friends fight to save Hengel and Argent and maybe stop the magicians for good this time. Congrats on BOTD!
