I read a sample of this book and it sounds like a rather captivating fantasy novel about the conflict in Knightdorn. I really liked the writing style in the excerpt, I’ll be sure to keep on reading! I love the fact that each character is unique and unforgettable in their own way, thanks for highlighting that! Great review!

I like the premise Gregory set for the storyline of this book, where a single character has been chosen by whichever forces to redeem his people or kingdom. Thank you for the thorough review.

"This book falls into the "chosen one battles forces of evil" category. Despite this typicality in the book's theme and the depiction of the characters, nothing about this book is predictable or dull. There are constant surprises, and one can never accurately assume the next thing to happen. When things seem to be going in one direction, something unexpected occurs that turns things in another direction. The suspense factor makes the book difficult to put down. There is no abrupt cliffhanger, but the author generates so much fascination and intrigue that anybody who reads this book will want to see how the story plays out. I greatly look forward to reading the remaining books in this series and other books by Gregory Kontaxis."

-Thank you for the detailed and insightful review. This book seems to be a healthy balance between simple fantasy troped out books and more complex high fantasy like GRRM's world.
Apparently, the series are somewhat based on Greek mythology, which makes it a cool twist on the fantasy series.
I'm planning to read the series to follow where it leads.

I was completely drawn into the world of 'Knightdorn' from the very beginning. The author's ability to create such richly developed characters, especially the enigmatic Elliot, is truly commendable.

I am not a fan of the genre, but the main character not being a typical hero, and the unpredictable plot of the book intrigues me to read it. Thank you for the review.

Your review of "The Return of the Knights" by Gregory Kontaxis has me absolutely captivated! 📚 The story of Walter Thorn's quest for the crown and the unexpected arrival of Elliot as a savior sounds like a thrilling adventure filled with twists and turns. I'm impressed by the author's world-building and descriptive abilities, as well as the seamless integration of backstory through dialogue and flashbacks. It's fantastic to hear that the characters are well-developed and unique, with Elliot standing out as a flawed but determined protagonist. The presence of a cunning antagonist like Walter adds to the intrigue and suspense of the plot, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. It's refreshing to hear that despite the familiar theme of a chosen one battling forces of evil, the book remains unpredictable and engaging throughout. I'm eager to dive into this epic fantasy journey and see how the story unfolds. Thanks for sharing your insightful review—I'll definitely be adding "The Return of the Knights" to my reading list! 🌟📖

I love stories where both the antagonist and protagonist are both powerful characters determined to win and conquer. I must therefore read The Return of the Knights.

The book sounds nice but I'm afraid I will not be reading it, except maybe by chance. It has the normal good versus evil theme. Elliot versus Walter and the fate of the land being at stake.

The review's portrayal of Elliot as a flawed yet determined protagonist adds depth to the story. It's refreshing to see a character who learns from their mistakes and perseveres in the face of challenges. The dynamic between Elliot and the antagonist, Walter, promises an engaging conflict that keeps readers on their toes.

I am fascinated by Elliot's "uncommon" skill and boldness that made people listen to him. I am intrigued by Elliot's accomplishments and negative traits such as ignorance and arrogance. I am interested in learning if Elliot's actions would lead to the salvation of Knightdorn.
