I like sci-fi novels. This one involving an alien, Micah and Jason and his girlfriend, Sarah, seems interesting. Thanks for the review of the book.

There's nothing as thrilling as a sci-fi book with aliens in it. Though Aliens coming in with the purpose of trying to help the earth is new. Y'know, its mostly invasion.
What exactly is the goal of those Aliens? Are they sincerely trying to help Earth or is there some ulterior motive?

Thanks for such a lovely review.

A terrific show of extraterrestrial powers would have ME shaking in my boots at the top of associate degree already long work day! tho' all told honesty, an alien spacecraft would freak me out any day of the year. What a philosophically-intriguing tale indeed! pretty review.

I was definitely taken in by the sample reading. It had me hooked right away even though this is not the genre I usually choose to read. I have to admit, I'm curious as to what happens to Jason, Sarah, and the others and what the decision is that they have to make.

I'm intrigued by the premise and curious to know how the story plays out for Jason and the others. What moral dilemma did they encounter and how was it resolved if it was indeed resolved. Great review.

Trusting the aliens to ensure the survival of the Earth is not easy. Jason and Sarah's journey in this sci- fi novel is very interesting. Thanks for the great review!

Hmmm, this review does give food for thought. The concept that turning down offers of alien help would leave Earth with a bleak future was a little off for me. It sounds like the philosophical discussions could be lengthy when inspired by this book. Thanks for a th ought-provoking review!

I agree that this book would be great for philosophical discussion. Despitbeing fiction, it exposes the most realistic aspects of human nature. The aliens are merely exploiting what weaknesses already exist. That question, I think, goes to the crux of the matter: ‘How far would you go to ensure the survival of Earth?’

This seems to be a sci-fi that could make the readers think about the current situation on the earth. As mentioned here, the ending seems not quite convincing. Thank you for the review!

I am glad to hear that the book sports a well-articulated plot and good characterization; however, science fiction featuring aliens is not exactly my cup of tea. I will probably pass. Thanks for the review though!

The plot of the story does sound interesting and would make a suspenful movie but it sounds a little like a movie a saw before that has almost the same story line
Recite in the name of your Lord who created [*] Created man from a clinging substance [*] Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous [*] Who taught by the pen [*] Taught man that which he knew not.

This is a wonderful story about alien invasion. I have never read a book or seen a movie where the aliens come in piece. I guess this is the distinguishing factor for this book.

This is a nice plot. It is interesting to know what their decision would be. The suspense will be overwhelming. Thanks for a well-written review.

I love the originality of this storyline. I'd love to find out what criteria was used to select the chosen 13. Also, what consequences lie ahead if the panel chooses not to welcome the alien. Definitely picking this one up. Great review.
