Thank you for your review. I"m so glad you enjoyed the book. While I wondered how the different characters got together in the book, this isn't my kind of story.

This book sounds like a great read. I like it that it involves "exciting and suspenseful plot, well-developed characters, and convincing sense of time and place." Although I'm a fan of science fiction, I don't like books with erotic content. I'll pass on this one. Otherwise congratulations on the BOTD!

I can't say I heard any other stories similar to this book. The premise sounds unique and intriguing, mixing subjects like alien beings, witches, time travel, and earthly issues such as slavery and drug trafficking. Frankly, I don't know what to expect, and I mean it as a good thing and a compliment to the creativity of the author. Thanks for the review.

I appreciate the book's complex plot too. It also encompasses themes that are obviously practical. Great review

An alien in Elizabethan times, sure sounds unique and interesting. I think it will be a good chaser laced with magic. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

This seems to be such an amazing read with the multiple POVs. What made me interested to read this book is how Thomas and Kat complement each other.

This review had me sold. Surviving Antsey sounds like one intriguing masterpiece. I can already feel the tension and can't wait to experience the divergent emotions the characters must have felt. Thanks for sharing!

:techie-reference: The plot of this novel reminds me of a hypothetical perspective presented to me in my West Indian history classes in high school. In that scenario one race was indoctrinated into a particular agricultural life by another. The difference seems to be the setting and time of the novel. I am very interested in reading the novel to decipher if there is any evidence of my hunch' with regards to the novel. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

I was confused at first in the sample because I was not aware that Kat was tied to anything, but your review clarified that for me. I do think that I will skip this one as I am not all that into sci-fi, but congrats on a great review. :)

This sounds fascinating, and I like the fact the characters have both strengths and flaws thus making them realistic. Thanks for the review. I have added the book to my shelf.

I guess this will be an interesting story. I wonder how the workers escape Anstey and his brutality. Or which of them is captured back into den.
