I cringed at the idea of a dystopian world where a single company has monopoly on the world's water supply. Forge Corporation is a seriously uncomfortable idea, which makes Tameem's writing worth reading. I'd love to know what happens between Forge and The Outliers.

One factor on what makes an interesting sci-fi novel for me is how it explores the moral implications of mankind's scientific advancement, and this book seems to cover that area with an added bonus of finely written characters.
