The book sounds like an interesting one to read and I love the fact that the author did a quick preview from the first book in this. The storyline is also inviting. Nice review.

This action-packed science fiction will be more appealing to romance readers. Even if it can be read as a stand-alone novel, I prefer reading the prequel first. I like the mix of futuristic and historical aspects of the setting. Thanks for your review.

I really appreciate the official OBC reviewer stating whether the second installment of the book series is a standalone read or not. This detail would be very useful to potential readers as it would tell them if they should read the first book if they want to understand the plot of the sequel. Congratulations to Susan Hancock for BOTD!

This sounds like an interesting sci-fi and fantasy book with a balanced instances of suspenseful episodes. The fact that the story is told from multiple perspective makes the book seem unique. Unfortunately, I will skip thee book because the reviewer mentioned that the book contains descriptive sex-scenes. I wouldn't enjoy reading that. Sorry.

This sounds like a good read. A historical romance with suspence and futuristic twist. It is also good to know that even if its the 2nd book, it might be read as a standalone. Good review. Keep it up!

This seems like an intriguing story that explores some deep emotional struggles. It will be interesting to read about Thomas and Kat and how they deal with their problems and overcome them. Congrats on the BOTD selection!!

I usually cringe when a book in a series is described as stand-alone because that's rarely true. But if it is true that there is a recap in this one of the first book, then that's a credit to the author.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I’m not currently interested in reading books based on Elizabethan times, so I think I will pass on this one for now.

I love romance novels but this one looks heavy! I don't mind though, it has already piqued my curiousity. So excited to read it! I'll definitely pick this up once I'm done with my current. Thanks a lot!
