Thanks for the review. I'm not into sci-fi novels so I'll be giving this one a pass. I hope those who do read enjoy!

This is one of those reviews that every author aspires to get. I know I generally like time travel stories, even though they usually keep me on edge because (let's be honest) they get complicated fast. This sounds like one I'll have to go read and hope my heart doesn't stop alone the way. A brilliant review for a writer who sounds just as brilliant. :D

The Quantum Cartographer by Kristen Keenon Fisher, had me hooked from the start. I am looking forward to reading the book. The preview left me needing to know what happens next. I found only one typo error within the preview of the book.

I thought when I first started reading that it read like a dystopian futuristic novel, but then the time-travel came along and turned it into sci-fi! Very intriguing!

It sounds like the reviewer really liked it, which sometimes sells me on a book more than the book.

After reading the sample on Amazon and this review, I am highly interested in reading this book. It captured my attention because I enjoy books like 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World.

"The story is fast-paced." Perhaps a little too much at times? In terms of plot, I'd definitely agree that it may be worth four stars. However, don't you think certain things could be drawn out a little longer? In terms of tension, the author works really hard to build up the atmosphere caused by the Proctor and his cronies, yet a few lines later most of them are dead. One is even (at best) knocked unconscious from being jabbed in the ribs with the pommel of the knife.

Time travel! That's captivating. Apart from reading it, I would love to watch this in movie format.

Sounds really nice and all, so much that I'm tempted to read it . But one thing that I've learned from time travel novels(or sci-fi in general) is that they tend to get confusing along the way. Not just in words but also with regards to their names and sometimes their plot lines. I really want to read this book but I'm so afraid of getting confused.

Today's BOTD sounds like an engaging read for lovers of the Sci-Fi genre! These characters are sure to grab your attention right away and hold it for the course of the book! Not my typical read, but being that it is the author's debut novel, I may give this well-written, professionally-edited book a try! Thank you for your thorough review and congratulations to the author!

The Amazon excerpt of “The Quantum Cartographer” points to this book being a real page turner. Complete with sinister “men in black characters, a car chase leading to a secret bunker in the mountains and the promise of time travel, this sample grabbed my attention. Initially it seemed like a lot packed into a few pages but I found myself wanting to read on by the end. This could be really entertaining.

Another historical romance and a captivating one at that. I actually didn't want to check it because of the cover (sorry but it just seemed boring) but from the review, the book is definitely an interesting one! Thanks for the review!
